CMS 60D Handheld Pulse Oximeter FAQs

What does the CMS 60D measure?
It measures and displays blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂) and pulse rate, with pulse waveform and bar-graph display.
Why is the CMS 60D suitable for ambulance use?
Its compact handheld format, external probe and AA-battery operation make it convenient for portable monitoring during transport and mobile clinical use.
What is the SpO₂ measurement range?
The supplied specification lists a range of 0-100% with 1% resolution.
What is the pulse-rate range?
The supplied specification lists a pulse-rate range of 30-250 bpm with 1 bpm resolution.
How long do the batteries last?
The supplied description states a theoretical working time of approximately 44 hours using two AA batteries.
Are pediatric and neonatal probes available?
Yes. Pediatric and neonatal probes are listed as optional accessories.
Clinical note: Pulse-oximeter readings should be interpreted by appropriately trained users together with the patient's clinical condition. A single SpO₂ value should not be used as the sole basis for diagnosis or treatment decisions.
