How a Valved Holding Chamber Supports pMDI Use

A pMDI releases aerosol when the canister is actuated. The holding chamber temporarily contains that aerosol so inhalation does not have to begin at the exact same instant as actuation. This can support inhaler technique for users who find actuation-breath coordination difficult.
