Frontal protection lead apron comprised of a front panel from 34” to 43” long and 20” to 28” wide covering the torso from the neck to just up to the knee. Criss cross back fasten to the front of the apron with adjustable hook and loop closure. Used in a variety of different environments, mostly where radiation exposure to the back is not a major concern or in situations where the wearer will not be turning their back towards the radiation source.
Available Protection Levels (Lead Equivalent):
Front: 0.35mm & 0.5mm
Available Core Materials:
A two piece garment consisting of a frontal vest to protect the upper torso from the front and a skirt designed to protect the lower torso from the front. Like their counterpart Full frontal protection apron, the unique two piece design of the Frontal Vest and Frontal Skirt apron splits the total weight of the garment between the shoulders and the waist. It is also thought to be a cooler option than the Full Frontal Apron because it allows more air to circulate. Criss cross back with adjustable hook and loop closure in the vest and fastener in the skirt. Used in a variety of different environments, mostly where radiation exposure to the back is not a major concern or in situations where the wearer will not be turning their back towards the radiation source.
Available Protection Levels (Lead Equivalent):
Front: 0.35mm & 0.5mm
Available Core Materials:
These special procedure one-piece Lead Aprons have been designed to fully overlap at the front from axilla to axilla. Designed to offer optimum protection with minimum weight. These aprons are ideal when a high level of protection is required. The Hook and loop type closure secured with straps and fastener buckle allows easy wearing and removal. The wraparound aprons are generally worn in environments with higher dose radiation such as Cardiac Catheterization, EP Labs etc.
Available Protection Levels (Lead Equivalent):
Front: 0.35mm & 0.5mm (Total equivalency at the front overlapped area)
Back: 0.25 mm
Available Core Materials:
A two piece garment consisting of a vest to protect the upper torso front and back and an overlapping skirt designed to protect the lower torso front and back. The front panel closes on the right side with Hook and loop. Like their counterpart full wrap around garment, the Vest & Skirt Garments generally rely on overlapping panels of protective material to achieve the desired protection level. The unique two piece design of the Vest & Skirt apron splits the total weight of the garment between the shoulders and the waist. These aprons are worn in environments with higher dose radiation such as Cardiac Catheterization and EP Labs.
Available Protection Levels (Lead Equivalent):
Front: 0.35mm & 0.5mm (Total equivalency at the front overlapped area)
Back: 0.25 mm
Available Core Materials:
These special procedure one piece Lead Aprons have been designed to partially overlap at the front. These lead aprons are designed to offer optimum protection with minimum weight. These aprons are ideal when a high level of protection is required. At the overlapped area in front side, the lead value is double. The Hook and loop type closure at the front allows easy wearing and removal. These aprons are generally worn in environments with higher dose radiation such as Cardiac Catheterization, EP Labs etc.
Available Protection Levels (Lead Equivalent):
Front: 0.35mm & 0.5mm (Total equivalency at the front overlapped area is double.)
Back: 0.25 mm
Available Core Materials:
A two piece garment consisting of a vest to protect the upper torso front and back and an overlapping skirt designed to protect the lower torso front and back. Both panels are slightly overlapped at the front and secured with hook and loop type closure. At the overlapped area in front side, the lead value is double. Like their counterpart Full Wraparound Garment, the Vest and Skirt Garments generally rely on overlapping panels of protective material to achieve the desired protection level. The unique two piece design of the Vest and Skirt apron splits the total weight of the garment between the shoulders and the waist. These aprons are usually worn when the wearer has to undergo long-term radiation exposure such as orthopedic surgery, cardiac catheterization and EP lab.
Available Protection Levels (Lead Equivalent):
Front: 0.35mm & 0.5mm (Total equivalency at the front overlapped area is double.)
Back: 0.25 mm
